William Mychael Lee
Cast, Limehouse Nights

William was a lawyer for several years before moving on to live out his passion for the performing arts.  He most recently performed with Maria Friedman and Daniel Dae Kim in The King & I (Royal Albert Hall).
Other theatre includes Branded (Old Vic), The Urn (Royal Court playreading), Peace Pagoda (Linbury Studio, ROH), Kensuke’s Kingdom (Birmingham Stage Company national tour), and Bent and Beckett’s What Where (Raffles Hall Players, Singapore).
As a choreographer and dancer, he was in Maskarade (Royal Opera House), Giselle (Ballet Naçional de Cuba at Sadler’s Wells), The Nutcracker (Singapore Dance Theatre), Brainstorm (The Necessary Stage, Singapore), and Biotikos, [äi] and Arabian Tales (Raffles Hall Theatre, Singapore) which he also directed before he turned twenty-one.
Short films include Rae Lyn Lee’s Duck where he played a man mistaken for a gigolo, The Madness of the Dance with Maxine Peake and the incomparable cinematographer Christopher Doyle, and Hunting Takashi where he played a vengeful villain felled in a blood-soaked finale.
William is also a writer and is currently developing a narrative for a full-length dance production and a comedy script for television.
